The hat hire is usually for a period of 2 weeks but this depends on the calendar and may not always be possible. At your appointment, we may arrange a date for you to collect it or arrange posting and agree return details.
During Ascot, Hat’s will be charged at their usual price for each day of hire. For example if the hat is £55 to hire and you collect it from 9.30am that morning, you must have returned it by 9am the following day. Therefore in most cases people choose to hire for two days with 50% off the second day hire. This would then cost £82.50 so that they can return it any time before the following day 9am.
In peak times it may take up to 5 working days for your deposit to be returned.
Caring for your hat
You will be provided with a hat box and we ask that you please always keep your hat in there when you are not wearing it.
Hats and rain do not mix. Please make sure your hat is sheltered from the rain at all times to avoid damage.
Please don’t try to rectify damage yourself as this likely will cause further damage.

The business is based in my summerhouse, in my garden. We are located in Bledlow Ridge, Buckinghamshire and I will send you the exact address when we book the appointment.
What to bring
It is important that you bring your outfit and accessories (bag, shoes, jewellery etc.) with you so that we can see the whole look. You can bring a friend to help you choose if you would like. Who knows maybe they will end up choosing a hat too!
Our prices vary from £25 -£70 and require a deposit of £40-£70. This must all be paid on booking. The deposit is refunded on the return of the hat and box, provided there is no damage. Payment can be paid by cash, cheque or bank transfer.
Hats and rain do not mix so please make sure your hat is sheltered from the rain during your hire. It is your responsibility to look after the hat. Should there be any damage, Temptation Hat Hire reserves the right to not repay your deposit. Including but not exclusive to dents, missing parts, bends, holes, rain damage, stains and makeup marks.
If a previous customer fails to return a hat you have booked or damages the hat we will do our best to find a replacement. If we can’t do this we will refund the hire cost (our liability is limited to a refund of the hire charge).
